A nonprofit, 8-week experiential learning and leadership-development fellowship program in South Africa for disabled college students
Our Mission
The Amandla Project aims to increase the representation of disabled students in the pursuit of educational opportunities abroad. Through internships, leadership development experiences and a reflection-based curriculum, Amandla Fellows will return from South Africa as empowered leaders, ready to impact their local communities.
Support Us
The Amandla Project covers all cost for Fellows’ participation in the program. Please join us in shaping future leaders and make a generous donation today.
The Amandla Project stands in solidarity with our black brothers and sisters in rising up against the systemic racism and oppression that permeates our society and we are committed to action.
People of color with disabilities are doubly marginalized. We are calibrating our outreach/recruitment strategy to ensure these students are reached and encouraged to become Amandla Fellows.
